CASE REPORT OF SUCCESSFUL TREATMENT OF ACUTE SUPERWARFARIN RODENTICIDES POISONING IN DEPARTMENT OF OCCUPATIONAL DISEASES, MILITARY HOSPITAL 175

Abstract
In recent years, the Department of Occupational Diseases, Military Hospital 175 has treated many emergency cases of patients with new generation rat poison poisoning. The old-generation rat poisons which existed 10-20 years ago causing convulsions, coma, and cardiac arrhythmias. Therefore, they have been banned and rarely re-appeared. Followed by the very popular superwarfarin rodenticides poisoning.
We report a case of a 53 years old man who drank 2 ampoules of supperwarfarin and referred to Military Hospital 175 after 4 weeks. The patient was admitted to the hospital with bleeding accompanied by severe coagulopathy, he was actively treated with fresh frozen plasma and blood transfusion, vitamin K1, hemostasis drug. After 7 days, the patient’s health was improved.
