Abstract

Objectives: Evaluate some advantages of the combination of hemodialysis (HD) and hemoperfusion (HP) by using HA130 cartridge to hemodialysis; and investigate some disorders of the combination of hemodialysis and hemoperfusion in chronic kidney disease patients with hemodialysis.

Materials and methods: From 2019 to 2020, a prospective study that was going on patients receiving hemodialysis with HA130 cartridge once a week in combination with 2 times a week hemodialysis alone for 3 weeks. These patients will be checked for clinical and laboratory parameters before and after dialysis (HD+HP), we will record the results and put them in the data analysis table.

Results: There were 10 eligible patients included in the study. In which, there was no clinical difference before and after HD+HP. In addition, the combination of HD+HP by using HA130 cartridge was significantly showed a lot of beneficial results, such as: lowering Parathyroid hormone (PTH) (1129 pmol/l → 655 pmol/l) (P < 0,001); lowering Acid uric (464 mmol/l → 201 mmol/l) (P < 0,001); lowering Phospho (1,99 mmol/l → 1,26 mmol/l) (P < 0,001), lowering Ure (25,68 mmol/l → 8,57 mmol/l) (P < 0,001); lowering Creatinin (901 μmol/l → 379 μmol/l) (P < 0,001).

Conclusion: The combination of HD+HP with HA130 cartridge brings many benefits and no serious adverse incidents occurred during the HD+HP treatment.
