Abstract
Different types of treatment are available for patients withprostate cancer. Some treatments are standard (thecurrently used treatment), and someare being tested in clini[1]cal trials. A treatment clinical trial is a researchstudy meant to helpimprove current treatments or obtain information on new treatments for patientswithcancer.
When clinical trials show that a new treatment is better than thestandard treat[1]ment, the newtreatmentmay become the standard treatment
